Life In General, I Suppose

"My dear, here we must run
as fast as we can, just to stay
in place. And if you wish to
go anywhere you must run
twice as fast as that."



I've been thinking about these words and even though they were written about Wonderland, I think they apply quite nicely to my life here in Highland, Utah.
It takes so much work, and it is quite simply EXHAUSTING, to keep up with everything that goes on in life. Then when you take on extra things, like softball. All of a sudden you are SPRINTING through life and its rough, isn't it.

But isn't it a lovely feeling to be going twice as fast, to be busy and to come out of that knowing a little more than you did before. Because that's what accomplishment feels like.
