once upon an 11:11 wish

i have decided that this is my new motto.

'people are just people, they shouldn't make you nervous.'

im just a person, but other people scare the living daylights out of me.

but you know what, other people are afraid too.

there is so much more to everyone then its possible for me to understand.

i've learned this year that everyone has self esteem problems, even boys, who knew?

there are reasons behind the way people act,

they've been hurt and betrayed.

everyone has.

the people we all fear are just the best at hiding it.

my resolution: make friends in high school, everyone there is just a person with their own story, and maybe our stories are supposed to intertwine, but i'd never know because i was too nervous of messing up and making a fool of myself.

here's to all the broken wishbones, the blown away dandelion seeds, and the 11:11 wishes that i've used wishing for more confidence, and for the ability to step out of my comfort zone and make friends.
